Evidence from around the world shows that women are disproportionately affected by economic shocks and crises. The COVID-19 pandemic is no exception. Apply CFS Framework for Action in Protracted Crises to Protect Civilians from Conflict-Induced Hunger — UN Security Council

On 21 April 2020, the UN Security Council urged members to apply the Committee on World Food Security’s Framework for Action in Protracted Crises (CFS-FFA) in their effort to address the twin challenges of conflicts and food insecurity.
